During his visit to Kashiji Rama had established Rameshwar at 3 places. This one is at a place where Varanasi should have ended as the holy river Varuna separates this place from proper Kashiji. Following the action of Ram all those who had come here established the Lord Shiva of their own. The count was stated to be numerous and had covered a stretch of kilometers.
