फलित ज्योतिष अति गहन विषय है। गणित के विद्यार्थी जानते ही होंगे कि 12 एवं 9 का क्रमचय, 79,833,600 होता है।
P(12,9) = n !/(n -r )! = 12!/3! = 12 x 11 x 10 x 9 x 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 = 79,833,600
अतः कुण्डली के 12 घरों में बैठे 9 ग्रह लगभग 80 लाख तरह के अलग अलग फल दे सकते हैं। इतना ही नहीं प्रत्येक ग्रहों कि दृष्टि भी अपने घरों के अलावा अलग अलग घरों पर भी पड़ती है एवं फलादेश के समय उनके फल का भी समावेश किया जाना चाहिये। ग्रह मैत्री चक्रों का भी फल होता है किसी के साथ बैठा कोई ग्रह अलग फल देने लगता है। उसके बाद कौन ग्रह जन्मके समय कितने अंश पर अवस्थित था उसका भी फल अलग हो जाता है। बाल एवं वृद्ध ग्रह अपना फल सम्यक रूप से दे भी नहीं पाते हैं। संभव है कि सुपर कम्प्यूटर भी निर्विवाद फल दे पाने में सक्षम न हो। अतः आप ज्योतिष में तब तक न जाएँ जब तक कि विवाह इत्यादि जैसे महत्त्वपूर्ण कार्य सामने न हों। हमारे ऋषियों ने कहा है कि सदाचारी बालक जो माता-पिता व गुरुजनों का सम्मान करता है एवं जिसके लिए लोगों कि सेवा करना धर्म है उस परोपकारी एवं दुर्व्यसन मुक्त बालक के खराब भाव के ग्रह भी उसका कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकते हैं।

It is advisable not to go for predictions for each and every thing as there are 9 Grahas which are placed in 12 houses of the horoscope. If we find out a simple permutation of 12 and 9 the answer is around 80 lack. In addition to that various other factors do effect the strength of the planets which increases their variations.
